I wanted to represent what if feels like rebuilding that connection with god. Although I’m no longer a catholic I do still hold some of the beliefs into my own spirituality. In this piece I wanted to embrace this subject matter through a minimalist approach the contrast the rigid texture of the canvas and the clouds in the background.
